      <image:title>Home - What Is Adventure Therapy?</image:title>
<image:caption>It is the prescriptive use of adventure experiences provided by mental health professionals, often conducted in natural settings that kinesthetically engage clients on cognitive, affective, and behavioral levels. Adventure therapy is an active alternative to traditional therapy. Overcoming challenges and being immersed in new environments can positively impact the growing process and promote healing in a way that feels rewarding.</image:caption>
